Bryan Cranston is starring in a new series based on Philip K. Dick’s writings, entitled Electric Dreams. It looks like it’s going to be a bunch of standalone episodes, and Ronald D. Moore (Outlander, BSG) is also involved. Huh. I’m not particularly a Philip K. Dick fan but I’m curious to see how this format works out for them.

Dylan O’Brien is reportedly in talks to play main character Mitch Rapp in American Assassin, a potential franchise based on Vince Flynn’s novels.

The White Princess casting news! Michelle Fairley will play Margaret Beaufort and Jodie Comer has been cast as Elizabeth of York. In The White Queen, those roles were played by Amanda Hale and a variety of young actresses including Freya Mavor, but it makes sense to recast as the characters will be older in the new show.

Paddington 2 seems to be a thing that’s happening for some reason.

Akiva Goldsman is producing an adaptation of David E. Hoffman’s nonfiction book The Billion Dollar Spy, and you know that I am always here for a Cold War spy story.
