Amanda SeyfriedAmanda Seyfried will play Mary in Joe Wright’s Peter Pan adaptation. That’s . . . oh, the kids’ mother. Really? She’s playing the mother of teenagers? Are there flashbacks involved? I have questions.

Whoa, they’re finally making a third Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie! It will be based on the fifth book in Ann Brashares’s series, Sisterhood Everlasting, which picks up the story a decade later. (Which is good, since the actresses are now all adults.)

The final Hobbit movie will now be called The Battle of the Five Armies instead of There and Back Again.

Scarlett Johansson and Lupita Nyong’o are apparently in talks for The Jungle Book. (The Disney one.)

Felicity Jones will star in the movie based on Patrick Ness’s A Monster Calls.

Dylan Lee has been cast in the Goosebumps movie.

Hugh JackmanGarrett Hedlund and Hugh Jackman have been cast as Peter Pan and Blackbeard, respectively, in Joe Wright’s Pan.

Ellie Goulding and Zedd have been confirmed for the Divergent soundtrack.

Sony has acquired the film rights to Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead.

Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland sequel, set for release in May 2016, will be called Through the Looking Glass and Sacha Baron Cohen may star.

Ant-Man‘s release date has moved to July 17, 2015.

The Batman/Superman movie has been moved to May 6, 2016, and Joe Wright’s Peter Pan movie will take its place on July 17, 2015.

Dracula‘s Thomas Kretschmann has joined Avengers: Age of Ultron as Baron Strucker.

Sony has acquired David Ignatius’s forthcoming novel The Director.
