I love the BBC’s Shakespearean history play adaptations that are collected together as The Hollow Crown, and while I haven’t yet seen a date for the new season airing in the U.S., the Beeb has kindly put a bunch of clips on YouTube, so at least we can enjoy those!

Paddington‘s release date has been moved to January, but the Weinstein Company has released a new trailer featuring the voice of Ben Whishaw, who took over the title role from Colin Firth. What do you think?
Producer David Heyman, director Paul King, animation director Pablo Grillo, actors Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville, and Julie Walters, and author Michael Bond’s daughter Karen Jankel talk about bringing Paddington to the screen. I remain dubious about this whole thing, but this video did make it look slightly better than the original trailer did. It’s interesting how they talk about Ben Whishaw being their perfect Paddington voice given that he was in fact a last-minute addition and not their first choice.
Well, we’ve finally got a full trailer for the new Paddington movie, set to hit theaters at Christmas. But I’m disappointed to see that despite the classic source material and amazing cast – Colin Firth! Hugh Bonneville! Nicole Kidman! Sally Hawkins! Peter Capaldi! Julie Walters! – this looks . . . kind of terrible. Sigh.
Here’s a delightful first look at the Paddington movie, based on the books by Michael Bond. Unfortunately, since it’s just a teaser, we don’t get to hear the voice of Colin Firth as Paddington or to see Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, or any of the other actors. But still! The movie will be in theaters in December.
Monuments Men will finally be in theaters in a few weeks, on February 7th, and Sony has released a new trailer called “Together.” The movie stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Bob Balaban, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Hugh Bonneville, and more.
Here’s a new trailer, “Treasure,” for Monuments Men, which will arrive in theaters in February. Based on a true story, it stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Hugh Bonneville, Jean Dujardin, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, and John Goodman.
Thanks to The Daily Mail, we have a new international trailer for The Monuments Men, a drama based on Robert Edsel’s book about museum directors and art historians tasked by FDR to steal art back from the Nazis. The all-star cast includes George Clooney, Matt Damon, Hugh Bonneville, Jean Dujardin, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, and John Goodman. The movie is set to hit theaters on February 7th. Can’t wait!
