Gotham Picked Up for Full Season

GothamFox announced yesterday that Batman prequel Gotham has been picked up for a full first season of 22 episodes. From the network’s statement, via Give Me My Remote: “Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon have created an incredibly rich world, with characters that draw you in and a cast that brings to life these heroes and villains in a way we’ve never seen before.” Are you looking forward to more of Gotham?

Gotham Featurette: The Underworld

GothamIn this featurette, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, writer/EP Bruno Heller, and stars John Doman, Ben McKenzie, and Jada Pinkett Smith discuss the underworld of Gotham and the structure of organized crime there. The next episode, “Arkham,” airs tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

Scarlett Johansson Does Wharton & More TV Casting

Scarlett JohannsonScarlett Johansson is set to star in a limited series adaptation of Edith Wharton’s The Custom of the Country from Sony Pictures TV. I’m intrigued.

The Flash has cast Victor Garber and Andy Mientus.

Bosch has added Sarah Clarke and Christina Ferraro.

Makenzie Leigh has been cast in both Gotham and Mozart in the Jungle.

TV Casting: Astronaut Wives Club, Elementary, Gotham, Turn

Yvonne StrahovskiYvonne Strahovski has joined the cast of Astronaut Wives Club, from her former Chuck boss Josh Schwartz.

Christian Carmago will guest star on Elementary as Watson’s ex.

Gotham has cast Nicholas D’Agosto as Harvey Dent/the future Two-Face.

Turn has cast Ksenia Solo as Peggy Shippen, the future wife of Benedict Arnold.

Gotham Clips: Pilot
